INTTRA is on a mission to transform the container freight industry, and we're looking for an Intern to help out on our Sales Operations team.

    The Business & Sales Intern is responsible for the development and maintenance of Sales Operations reports with the ultimate goal of improving sales efficiencies and effectiveness.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop solutions, using Excel and Tableau, to address sales reporting and business requirements
    • Continually innovate reporting solutions in managing weekly and monthly reporting process
    • Create value added tools that can be leveraged across the entire organization
    • Provide insight and analysis into key business drivers via dashboards and reports
    • Develop automation for reporting, to enable the sales team to access dashboards and reports via “self service”
    • Provide timely and accurate data in support of ad-hoc reporting for other departments and from Senior leadership
    • Understand process flows and recommend data quality and process enhancements

    Qualifications

    • Bachelors of Business Adminstration (or related) degree required with finance/statistics/accounting concentration – MBA preferred
    • Formal Excel, Tableau, Oracle, and/or other data and database training

     

    Experience

     

    • 0-1 years operational experience with focus on data analytics and close linkage to business partners (specifically Sales)
    • Experience with database and data analysis technology, as well as with enterprise applications and project management
    • Advanced level experience with Excel (pivot tables/formulas/macro/VBA)
    • Experience with salesforce.com a plus
    • Strong database, business intelligence and data warehousing experience (Oracle, MS Access, other)
    • Logical thinker, demonstrated ability to make sense of large quantity on unstructured data
    • Strong communication skills; ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
    • PC proficient with various MS Office software applications
