  • Responsibilities

    Senior Software Engineer (Parsippany, NJ) (multiple positions). Participate in the full software development life cycle (TDD, BDD, design, documentation, deployment). Architext and develop Java-based web related applications. Act as part of an agile team through pairing, code review, scrum, sprint planning, reveal, and retrospectives. Provide diagnostic support and bug fixing for software applications. Perform and promote local refactoring when making changes. Provide technical impact assessment. Use relational and No SQL database to build data model and persist data. Test customized reports using knowledge of algorithm design, systems analysis, and programming skills. Work within the parameters of software applications, as well as design and develop highly sophisticated applications. Promote and participate in technical and process improvements. Requires a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field, and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in a software engineering related position architecting and developing Java based and web related applications. Must have two (2) years of work experience with each: 1) working with programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and AJAX; 2) Web Services, SOAP, DOM, and XML; 3) open source and Java/JavaEE frameworks (Struts, Spring, Hibernate, JSP, EJB); 4) Using relational and No SQL database to build data model and persist data; and 5) OOP and OOD programming paradigms.
