The Strategy & Corporate Development department is focused on: creating a strategic framework for growth oriented strategic business opportunity assessment; immediate opportunities for non-organic growth; and developing long-term, forward-looking, high-impact initiatives that drive business growth. INTTRA is looking to broaden and deepen its network transaction platform at the center of the container shipping industry. The Strategy & Corporate Development Associate will assist with evaluation of numerous options for strategic growth including acquisition and corporate development opportunities.


The candidate will contribute his/her top-notch analytical skills to a dynamic and ever-evolving portfolio of projects. Specific responsibilities include:


  • Support the Strategy and Development team on a wide range of corporate initiatives.
  • Research and analyze current and adjacent markets.
  • Prepare financial analysis and develop clear, concise, and effective presentations.
  • Support the preparation of presentations for various management committees and Board of Directors meetings.
  • Support deal sourcing and execution activities..
  • Gather company-specific financial information and industry data, analyze historical trends and prepare financial forecasts and acquisition models.
  • Draft approval materials, including company overviews, strategic rationale and financial footnotes, in support of an array of inorganic growth opportunities.


  • 4-5 years of work experience, ideally in roles involving analytical and cross-functional projects such as financial planning and analysis, strategy consulting (either in house or preferably strategy consulting firm), venture capital or corporate/business development experience.
  • Ability to build quantitative (valuation and/or forecasting) models and create compelling business presentations and reports
  • Superior research and data gathering/synthesis/analysis skills
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills required

Required Education

  • A., in Finance or related discipline required
  • MBA preferred
